Mokara spike stalled

Hi everyone, I have a Mok Calyso cutting that I received a few months ago. It was topped from a mature plant. The roots are doing well with nice reddish tips and the leaves are growing nicely.

I noticed the beginning of a spike near its base a few weeks ago, but since then the spike has remained 1mm long and hasn't been growing since. Is this normal with a cutting? Is there anything I can do to encourage it?

It's in a nice bright location, gets heavily misted twice a day and fertilized once a week! Maybe it's figuring out what to do since this its first time?
