This gave me a double spike in this first blooming! I recently stuck the mount in a pot of coarse bark for convenience, it's been grown mounted with a tiny bit of sphagnum on fern bark for about 18 months.
The plant span is about 2 inches.

It's hard to photograph, but here goes

Great growing! How long do your blooms last? Mine lasted about two weeks I think.

Thank you!
the blooms seem to be lasting about two weeks, and are sequential. The first flower just wilted and it looks like at least 3 yet to open.

I grow in a converted closet lined with humidity trays, so the humidity stays around 50% all winter long. I soak all my bare-root and mounted plants daily.

I invested on humidifiers for the dry winter...and I live in an old pre war building apartment where the heater are still the coiled steam heat...
some of my vandas are in baskets and mounted...I also spray daily
