my two Microcoelia that i had ordered a week ago has come, they even have a flower spike
though the flowers are smaller than i thought , probably the photos of flowers i Have seen where all close ups,
my camera is not so good at taking pics of the flowers but i did my best, the plant itself doesn't look real but it is
one of them was upside down on the wire and i thought the growing tip was dead but i turned it around to see that it was upside down
sorry about the photo the plant is over 10cm from end to end
the are a bit like cousin it
they are the most unusual plant in my collection
thinking of buying a flask of ghost orchids
any suggestions like how i would create stagnant conditions that don't look ugly.
these leafless orchids are so amazing
i was shocked when i found a nursery in australian that sells them

I think RJSquirrel has some posts where he describes some enclosed spaces for growing things like masdies. Also Vase Culture or variations thereof.
Ideally you probably want "humid" and not "stagnant" conditions. You can also go for an all out orchidarium/terrarium/wardian case that does not have to be ugly.
