Aer. quinquevulnera is a large-sized monopodial epiphyte. Without flowers, they look like A. odorata or A. lawrenceae. Their flower spikes appear in early summer, but the flowers open in late summer or early autumn. Flowers are about 1" in diameter and are quite fragrant.
