Default Vanda coerulea (The Wild Form)

I have always wanted to own this form of Vanda coerulea, it is not rare but its hard to find in the market ...I have two other Vanda coerulea forms and the last one to bloom was questioned because of its spotting and the leaf span...
This is a young plant and on its first blooms...it surely surprised me ! I never realized that I have the form similar to what is found in the wilds...

Beautiful! Bud, I notice that you have a little sphag in your vase. It looks like it works well for you.

Beautiful! I don't know which is more interesting, the water culture or the plant.

Thank You, Judi !

Thank You, Vanda Lover ! U noticed the sphag...its winter and I need all the moisture I can give the plant...its very dry this winter in New York...

Thank You, Jerry ! Both are interesting: The plant because I never expected it to flower like this...I thought I would have a small flower and darker...this is almost 5 inches in diameter and I got seven blooms on this plant which is surprising for a first bloom. I was expecting maybe two or four at the most...the vase culture is very successful in the sense that it is growing well and it is in a one foot vase...the plant cant stop growing and making lots of roots which is really surprising for a cold tolerant vanda
