How do you keep the plant so nice and healthy? I have 1 Vanda (coerulea cross) and the roots are suspended in a large plastic basket. I either soak it or pour water on it every day and sometimes water it twice a day. The leaves are always so leathery and I don't get so many roots like yours. There is a wee bit of moss and bark in there just to hold a bit of moisture.

Thank You for the visit and your kind words.
This is on vase culture in winter where the plant is immersed in water every three days for 12 hrs. Then it is in a dry vase for another three days but gets the humidifier and heater about a couple of feet away near the south facing bay window. In the summer this gets gradual sun outdoors on the fire escape since the humidity in Manhattan is very high.
I guess it got used to my environment and I also feed it with k-lite every other week alternated with seaweed mix.
I give this a different temperature than my other Vandas. I let it stay out until it is in the mid 40F in the fall whereas my other Vandas gets to be indoors when it hits mid 50F....
