Wow that thing is huge! I wish I could get mine to bloom, do you have any culture/growing tips you could provide?

I got her in April 2006 from J&L at the GNYOS show/sale. Been inside under T8 lights the entire time, I don't put her outside. Fed on an average every other week with 20-10-20 urea free GrowMore. I use a mix of sphag and bark, about 50/50. She bloomed in May 06 and I repotted her about 6months later and made a mistake? buy potting according to the root mass which put her into an 8" pot !!! The upper growth wasn't ready for that so she pouted for 2 years doing nothing but growing !!! She exploded into bloom in March 2010 and I took her in to see what the judges would say, with another "sure thing" definite award getting plant ! Well, they passed right by the "sure thing" and ranted and raved over Sedirea !!! That was the first AOS award I won !!! Other than the 2 year pout she's acted like a Phal and been treated the same way. Some have said they need a winter rest but so far mine hasn't had one ! No special tricks in my culture technique ! I take her into the kitchen sink and flush with tepid water thoroughly then fertilize if it's time to. She sits on a saucer with a homemade plastic grid and I keep some water in it for local humidity. My open area X-dining room has a ceiling fan and a humidifier on 24/7. I have the light fixtures on a digital timer for 12 hours now and when on DST I change to 15 hours/day. Normal, simple stuff !!!! She just LIKES me I guess !!!

That's spectacular! I've never seen a Sedirea that big before! The shape and color patterns of the blooms are exquisite, too!
