Here is my first blooming of Renanthera philippinensis. When I bought it, I though it might be a hybrid bc the grower had been growing it under low light and the leave are long and narrow. Once I grown it under high light, all the new leaf are short and fat (like Trichoglottis brachiata). The flower are deep crimson red and very beautiful.
The paph in the picture is P. gratrixianum.
That is a beautiful specimen. The flowers are the typical form you see in any pictures found in books and in the net. And it is thriving well in a claypot. Good growing!
