Thank You jmce96!
Thank You, pedidiva ! The plant is 7 yrs old and I acquired it as a near blooming 4 year old adult plant...
Thank You, Vanda Lover...in fact there is another spike coming out on the next upper leaf, maybe it will have two spikes flowering soon

Beautiful blooms, Bud. Congrats!
So, did you say the Luzonica isn't fragrant?
I bought a bunch of seedlings from Oakhill because I thought this vanda would be fragrant... Plus, I can't find a tricolor anywhere...

@samnkyle...the Vanda tricolor doesnt have fragrance but the Vanda luzonica is fragrant. I am sorry if you got confused. I was giving the differences between the two.

Oh cool.. Then I got the correct one then... I got a few more years to wait... Mine are still seedlings... I'll admire yours for the meantime.

@samnkyle... you need 4 years to make it bloom and I have a sneaky suspicion you have a 2 yr old seedling...no worries: once it blooms it will bloom every year and if youre lucky you will have it bloom twice a year; just follow the vanda culture religiously and a constant watering/fertilizer regimen
