Rhynchostylis gigantea 'Red' (more like burgundy!)

Here's my Rhynchostylis gigantea 'Red'. Red seems to be a little forced in this case. Burgundy, or dark burgundy maybe . This is a little baby, barely higher than a seedling, and is flowering for the first time with two floral stems. I feed it heavily, except during the winter, and it likes it, for sure.
In fact, these two pictures do not make justice to the true color of these flowers. They are less red, more wine than they are in the photos. I have some troubles with my camera to correctly capture burgundy. I'll try to post another photo more representative (I hope!! :-) )

The dark red form is called 'Devarajunii'. Very nice one. I have one, too. I hope it will flower this winter.

Thanks for the info Phil! I thought that the variety was named 'Red', because it was labeled like that when I bought it. Probably the vendor himself did not know the correct name. Thanks again!
