Beautiful flowers? I have seen and heard of people growing Vanda's in glass vases, but I have not heard about using holes in the bottom, can you tell me why you are using the holes in the bottom and how it works for you?

Oh Bud - you are killing me with all your beautiful, cheery colored blooms!
Love the color! And obviously a very happy plant!

Good job, Bud! Looks like it has miniatum in the background?

Thank You, Gloria
Thank You, Tucker
Thank You, Becca
Thank You Sonya
Thank You, Gage
-Becca=The glass have holes so all I have to do is put it in the sink and water the plant...then let it drip and back to the windowsill...in the afternoon I just spritz...(this is just in winter...in summer they are hanged bareroot on the fire escape=vandas love the hot and humid Manhattan summers...
@Gage: its a one year old keiki...I dont like to separate it from the mother...maybe someday they both will bloom a spectacular show...

Sorry, I wasn't very clear. I meant that your Ascocenda looks looks like it has Ascocentrum miniatum in its parentage.

Bud, nice blooms. I have an exact same cross, but mine only blooms once a year between August and September. It's a keeper.
