Vanda coerulea, how long to blooming size??

Oh, that's a really nice little one. So by the looks of it, the spike appeared directly above the previous spike?

Yep, you're exactly correct! I always steered clear of vandas because they all seem to get so damn big! Being a species addict - Vanda coerulea is just stunning - compact plants, BLUE flowers, and a hearty bloomer.

I'm not sure if mine is an actual pure species as I've heard some are slightly hybridised to get a deeper blue and my one on the picture looks very blue (maybe just the picture has been made to look deeper blue) but I can't wait for this one too flower.
