Gorgeous flower.

I see the bug reading the newspaper Not so sure on the monkey, but then I can never see the monkey face in Dracula either so it must be something I'm missing.

Photo: Lion-tailed Macaque (Macaca silenus)

Check out the link to the macaque and note the resemblance.

Very beautiful, but I don't see the monkey or the bug. Sorry.

Tindo, they're where the column are. If you look solely at the column and the wings of the lip, they look like the heads and arms of spider monkeys.

If you look at the column and account for the petals, you have the head and wings of the insect(s).

Doesn't resemble a frog I can recognize to me, but I see where the "newspaper" comes from, (the lip). The lateral lobes of the lip are the arms.

Thanks Philip. I still don't see the monkey, but thats probably because the semi-albino news paper reading large winged insect is in my way. I see that one for sure now thanks to your help.

That's what I thought! Or a bug with VERY LARGE purple ears. I don't see a monkey, though, haha!

I'm with you, Tindomul. I'm a primatologist, and I just see a strikingly beautiful flower!
