Thank you all, are happy that you like
@zxyqu 9 flowers on 9 spikes,
is one plant, but has 2 vegetation because the mother plant has lost its vegetative apex, I bought it already without vegetative apex.

My tag reads "Haraella odorata". Is that why mine smells lemony and roby's doesn't? I thought retrocalla and odorata were the same thing? Mine has 7 leaves, 3 new roots and 2 spikes, mounted on a stick with a little sphag. It hangs on the side of the cupboard, next to the window and I hold it under the faucet every morning. In the summer I even took it to work to show off to my co-workers.

As far as I know odorata & retrocalla are the same...
Rob are you sure it has NO scent as they don't have a scent all day only at certain times (mine 'smells' around 4/5pm) ..
@Camille you really do need that container for more humidity

odorata and retrocalla are the same orchid, and one thing about it is that fragrance is hit or miss. Some aren't fragrant, some a little bit and others are very strong. Even the smell itself can vary. I used to have 2 of them, and the one that died smelled like real lemons, while the remaining one smell more like a very artificial citronella.
Yes Nenella, I really do need to get that done.....

Thanks Bud, I sure hope it does, because I adore this little orchid! I don't have very good conditions for my mounts, so I'm putting together a temporary tank (what Nenella was referring to) until I have the money to get the terrarium of my dreams.

Wow, really nice. This is such a good performer. Really one of the best to get someone new to orchids excited about them. It worked for me.
