My wife surprised me!
My precious wife went to Weston the other day to see her mother, and decided to stop by Dan and Margie's Orchids to see what was blooming. When she got home she said "Oh look, something decided to bloom!", pointing to the tree just outside the window. When I saw orange blooms, for about 2 seconds my mind was doing gymnastics. I have a V. Pachara Delight (purple) in spike in that tree, so for those 2 seconds I was really confused!
The first one is V. (Kultana Gold x tessellata), and the second one (Dan threw it in for free because the plant was a bit struggling!) is V. TMA Red. Dan said to put sphag on the stem to encourage new roots, and I can already tell the leaves have perked up, any more advice is much appreciated!

Gage - very nice surprise from the wife. I love any Vanda with tessellata in it, they usually have a wonderful fragrance. Tell your wife she did good.

Oh she did very good. She said she could smell the fragrance while she was at the greenhouse. I can't seem to smell anything last night or this morning, but I know a lot of them pick up once the day heats up.
