Thanks Bud. True the second Vanda isn't so vigorous. I gave it a spray down with fungicide and removed 1 sick looking leaf. With the sphag and rooting hormone on the stem I think it will bounce back with a lot of roots.

I sure hope so. It is a very nice Vanda. It would sure be a waste.

I saw your album and your list of orchids. That is quite the list, wow. So you keep your Vandas on the fire escape in the summer? That's determination right there. I am glad to be able to grow some orchids outdoors year round in the tiny tree in our tiny yard, lol. I know we aren't going to be down here forever, so I'm hoping I will be able to take all the Vandas and larger orchids with us wherever we go. Anyhow, my hat is off to you for growing what you have in NYC.
