Here's an update on my seedlings. They are really doing well. They did grow quite a bit so far. This is a photo of the vanda seedlings. They are nice and big.

Great job. They are some really large, healthy looking seedlings. The ones I got deflasked and shipped in plastic bags from ebay are tiny in comparison. Of course they are smaller plants, (Enc. tampensis, Cycnoches cooperi and Soph. cernua). I've had em' in compots for about 4 days now and although I take the covers off to allow for some air circulation, I'm still afraid to try and fully harden them off to the outside world. They should do okay in our hot humid sun room, but I just don't know this being my first attempt. I'll be happy if I can raise a couple of each variety. Yours look like they should all make it, no problem!
Cheers,
Tony

I can understand you are afraid they will not make it.
Especially because you did deflask them so recently.
Mine are already almost 2 months old now. They have already been outside and in the sun a little.

Wow, they look fantastic! What conditions did you give them since you deflasked them?

Cheers.

Thanks. I did nothing special. Just about the same as my other vanda's. I mist them daily. These little ones I soak twice a week with fertilizer, and I let them adjust carefully to the sun.
