Aerides houlletiana
The most wonderful fragrance to this one, heavenly, wish I could capture this one in a bottle. Three spikes for its first bloom, I think its a winner. a really nice species.

Very nice flowers. Since those Aerides tend to grow any directions, I kinda have stayed away from them.
Hmmm. Maybe, it is time to reconsider........

Very nice whole plant pics. Do you grow it bare-root like that? Thanks.

All my vanda are bare roots, takes watering twice a day in our Florida heat, but when I tried a basket with some aliflor, roots seem to die back. This works for me. I can see the root eyes and water till they are fat.
