I agree with Lilrocorchids about the Ascda. Princess Mikasa's. They bloom often for me too and they don't need as much light as some of the vandas. As the plants bloom when they are young, they are good for growers that don't have much space.

PINKCAT~ Just checking up on you and your plants...well, how are they doing so far???? I hope so far so good, I know how it is to be disappointed after such a "high" of expecting something after you purchase your plants and then when they actually arrive after the long, long wait, and they don't appear to be to your liking!!!!! Well, I hope they improve for you! Let us know!

Goodwin Orchids
I've had good luck with Goodwin Orchids ( http://www.goodwinorchids.com/). They are in Leesburg, FL; I used to visit them quite a bit when I lived closed. Real friendly people and are great about helping you pick one that might work better for you.

I am pretty new to orchids, but just had to get a vanda after seeing them in bloom. The problem was, I wasn't willing to pay the asking prices! I did end up seeing a decent sized $15 bagged vanda in a bag at a Home Depot here in Florida. It was the best deal I've seen... so far. Now, I have yet to get it to bloom (and figure out the proper watering pattern!).
Good luck!

I've bought 3 vanda types "in-a-bag" at the big boxes.
None of them bloomed the first year I had them. It took at least two seasons and the last bloomed year three. Hopefully yours won't take that long.
I've found that more expensive plants are most often more mature and bloom sooner. I bought 3 vandas this year, all about $35 ea, one bloomed in June and the other two currently have two spikes each on them.
I'm a little north of you and my vandas do well with 3-4 hours of morning to noon sun and bright shade the rest of the day. Nature waters them daily or we do. Our watering is a hose down at about 30 - 45 seconds per plant.
Good luck with your vanda.

Dave,
If you ever have plans for being in Homestead, you should try to get to R.F. when they have a tour going. It's an unforgettable experience!
