Vascostylis Pine Rivers 'Blue'

Made an extra effort to get the name right.
Havent been real happy with this plant. The buds didnt flower just right and it looks like a mess. Ive been looking at it all week wondering how next time I can somehow get the flowers to open up flat and perfect so it looks as good as the deep coloring
Not a real fan of the dark edges either, makes it look like its dirty. In fact I dont like this about many vandas with the dark edge. Its not appealing to me at all. I wanted to try some vanda types though and this is what I got.




I looked so hard at the flowers I completely missed this until today. Im slipping. new little spike to the right



maybe I can learn to like them a little more and that depends on how fast I can kill this one

I like it. How old is this one? It looks like a very young plant. It is still so small. Have you any idea how old it is? I have a few seedlings my self, so I'm a bit curious. I think the color is nice, and even a second spike. Good job.

I think it's beautiful. I love that color. I'm a big fan of vascostylis. Some of them bloom when they're quite small and most of them bloom often. One of mine has been in bloom constantly since last fall.

I love it! Don't complain, at least you could get a vasco. I had to buy mine on Ebay from France.
