The 8" size sounds great but I'm not so sure I want to wait 6 years for blooms. I think before I buy one I will ask, how long before I can expect blooms. Sometimes I wish I were 25 again, then waiting 6 years isn't so long.

If possible, pick the plant that has ever bloomed. Some seedlings of vanda or its relatives are notorous for their flowering abilities.
