Ascocenda Motes 'Burning Sands' blooming!!!
This is a very reliable bloomer for me. At it's best it blooms 3 or 4 times a year. Hopefully I'll get it to that stage again soon. This is one of my favorite color combinations and I love two tones in vandas like Euanthe sanderianum. Well let's stop the writing and lets get to the showing. I hope that you like it as much as I do.

Beautiful Ascocenda! I'm a recent convert to the vanda alliance. As a cattleya grower I love having these ascocendas and vascostylis that bloom several times a year. Your's is spectacular. Nice gorwing.

I have seen those flowers in the picture before and been wanting the plant for a lon time. Judging from the name, I guess that the best way is to contact Dr. Motes?

I got mine directly from him. I went explicitly to his nursery to buy it. The first time that I saw the pictures of it I loved it.
