Thrixspermum bromeliforme in bloom!!!
I am soo very excited to share with you guys this tiny bloom. To be honest with you when I got this plant at my last OS meeting I wasn't too sure about it. Knew nothing about it and still don't other than I have managed to keep it alive and growing and now blooming. This is a Phillipines endemic species. I got this plant from our last speaker. Anna Purificacion from Purificacion Orchids of the Phillipines. She was at Redlands and then our speaker at Coalition for Orchid Species. I must say that this morning I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the tiny bloom. I had seen the bud a couple of days ago but wasn't sure if it would bloom or die. Well enough talking.
