Vascostylis Vinita Blue..............
I was looking for another vascostylis at the Redlands Orchid Festival. My Vasco. Pine Rivers has been blooming continuously since I bought it six months ago. Vasco. Vinita Blue was the only one that I found at the show. The vendor told me that this one also blooms continuously during most of the year.

Very nice. I really think that I need to branch out to Vascostylis. It looks like that there is another spike coming up.
BTW, is that the only plant you bought at Redland?

I've heard that vandacous orchids are not recommended for northern climates. They like heat, humidity and strong light. If you want to try one of them, I would certainly recommend vascostylis. I've had some difficulty finding them though. I did buy a couple of other orchids at the show. Compact phals. mostly. Thanks for your comments.

It's wonderfully healthy looking and very pretty, especially for being the only one.
What kind of culture does a vascostylis need? I'm kind of North of Florida

It's a nice looking Vasco. The color is pretty. That light blue. I also think there is an other spike coming up.
