Default V. Darres Golden Heritage x V. Dr. Anek

I bought this plant without flowers at the San Diego Show a few years ago, this is the 2nd year it has bloomed for me. Beautiful 2-tone flower with spots. I love it.

Beautiful! Almost looks like vanda sanderiana except for the spots that is much broader and scattered on the upper petals which is a plus.

Doesn't either parent have sanderiana as a grandparent? So far it only blooms once a year.

Chance that yours is sanderianized (probably parent of its parent) is high because as you said it blooms once a year which is a common for euanthes.

My 5 sanderianas here bloomed last year around September and I expect them to bloom again this coming July until October.

Really nice!

Looks to me like sanderiana is in the parantage. I had a wonderful (pretty complex hybrid) which when your worked it out was about 65% sanderiana and it had retained that two tone look. Unfortunately it died over the winter this year

I don't know if it has a sanderiana in the parentage, but I love the color. It's a pretty bloom. Well done.

Will see what it will do later this year. Actually, it was stuck in far back of the growing area. I was surpirsed when I found its spike while I was rearranging my blooming vandas for the show.
