Default Ascocentrum miniatum in flower

This has come in flower earlier than usual this year. I have had it since 2007.This is the first plant I have grown in a glass vase. I have only ever got a single spike at a time from it up to now.

What a pretty little thing! How often do these flower? It is one that I have considered getting. I'm planning to try vase culture soon, so many people are having good success with it. I wonder if anyone has tried Catts in vase culture?
