Ascda. Princess Mikasa 'Indigo'
I bought this in early December and it's been in bloom constantly except for a two week period. You can tell by the color of the leaves that it's been getting bright light. This is the first time it's had two spikes.

Wow that'll knock your socks off! How bright is bright? I live in Pompano, and my Ascda. is getting bright shade under a little tree. Do you think it needs any direct sun?

Gage, my vandas are on a screened patio with a screen roof. They get bright light most of the day but the screen filters out 25%-30% of the light. If yours is under a tree you might want to hang it where it will get direct light in the mornings only. By the way Princess Mikasa is actually more purple the picture shows.

That is certainly bright. I don't think I can conjure anything that consistent throughout the day. It seems it's either Full sun, full shade, or full sun part of the day, and shade part of the day. Do you think full sun part of the day is ok?
