Fantastic ! I will show you my Euentha sanderiana in glass and its in spike it will bloom soon, its a 10 yr old vanda and it was given to me by a very good friend and its 7 yrs in my care

Do you also grow that in vase? That's nice. I guess there are more people growing in vases I did realize. Can't wait to see the bloom. I also have one in spike.

I learned how to drill holes in glass. I am very good at it. Didnt you see my post in the other forum? Glass is also very good in S/H...

No I guess I missed it somehow. I have my Vanda's in vases without wholes. It's working very well.
Where are the whole's for than?

the holes are for watering the roots without disturbing it so much(I also put media inside the glass to help moisten it and add humidity) my Air Conditioner tend to dry the plants and suck the moisture when they are indoors...I dont have to invert my plant to pour out the water

Now I understand. That sounds good. I mainly do mist them. It's only once a week I do soak them. So I don't have to invert them to much. Although I must admit it's quite a job.
