From $55 to $20? WHY NOT.
BTW, my favorite Vandaceous vendor in Florida has a Facebook page and she started posting "NEW" flowers on her wall. That is really NOT helping me, either. Is it called "a subliminal message" or am I just a sucker.

Is this the same vendor we recently posted about in my vanda post???? I'd love to "friend" her...she has wonderful plants.

Ryan, no. It's not her. The lader I am referring to is Smiley at Smiley's Orchids. The link below is the pictures I took at her greenhouse when I was there in October.
http://www.orchidboard.com/community...ure-heavy.html
What I heard is that chiaki_ayumi ( Cynthia ) is a daughter of Tom Ritter. Her plants are reasonable, but fairly small compared to what you can get from Smiley. Smiley's plants are exceptionally well-grown and HUGE.
Look for Smiley Promsurin on FB and send a request to be friend with her ( tell her Naoki send you to her way ). She keeps adding the flowers on her 'new' plants.

Oh sure I've seen this post! You know I meant to visit her when I was in FL the last time and was even on my way to visit but got lost! And then to top it off we had an unexpected change to our trip so I never did make it there. I was really looking forward to visiting her place, too.
I'm not currently on Facebook... it'll sound funny but I gave it up for Lent. LOL I never spent much time on it but it felt too invasive on my daily life so I gave it up for now. After Easter I'll check again, and add her to my list of friends!

Oh, nooooo. That's too bad.
Speaking of Lent, I wonder how many people in this forum gave up ORCHIDS for Lent. lol.

Two opposing spiritual forces... I imagine it would be a stalemate!
As for me, no giving up orchids. It would be like leaving my 1 and half year old daughter on her own! I couldn't do it!
