Rhynchostylis coelestis flowers
I thought you might like to see the flowers on my Rhynchostylis coelestis which is currently in bloom
Here's an attempt at a less conventional lighting setup after a recent thread asking why we always use such "boring" lighting for photographing orchids!
You can read more and see more pics on my blog post Rhynchostylis coelestis in bloom. You can also click on the images there to get to the full size originals.

Thanks
One interesting thing I've noticed is the blue/lilac/purple colour gets more and more intense as the bloom gets older, which is quite cool, so you end up with a gradual colour gradient down the spike.

Thanks, Camille
I find the scent on this guy to be quite "waxy" - not citrus-y like I've read in some places.
