I just check my vandas today and my R.monachica, V. coerulescen, Astm. amphyllaceum, curvifolium and Aed. crassifolia are in spike. Will post the pic once they bloom. ^^

Thank you as well wonderlen 3000 for the additional information. I have an asocenda that I hang out in a tree in the summer and it actually started growing a spike at the beginning of Feb. (first spike for me! ). We have the humid summer here for sure, so the plant would probably do well out there with the asocenda. Last question (sorry to be bother), but where did you buy your plant?

I mostly get my vandas at orchids show or society order. Orchids in our Tropic carry a good selection of vandas. I normally ask the seller if they are importing any new plants n if they can get the plants. But u got know what u r looking 4 thou.

Paula here is a pic of my Ren. monachica. The plant is only 11" tall in 3.5" clay pot. There is already 3 kiekies on the base, two at the front and one hidden in the back.

Thankyou Paula & wonderlen for posting the photo of the whole plant. I really HAVE TO have one of these!!!
If anyone has any idea where to get one in Europe I'd really appreciate it (I haven't looked yet)
