Default Just bought v. coerulea online and it's pretty beat up, what can I do to help it?

I just bought a v. coerulea online, and it showed up in pretty rough shape. I read the sticky about keeping vanda's in glass vases and was planning on doing this because I live in a low humidity area. When I got the poor little guy out of the box, the leaves were bent in every direction and some had dead tips or were even cut in half. I pulled it out of the pot and Surprise! there were actually three plants in there

So I separated their roots, removed the dead ones and cleaned the plant up, and put them each in their own little jars.

Is there anything I can do to help them straighten out so they look like they're supposed to?

Not a vanda grower...but regarding the condition in which the plant was received, did you call the vendor?
They should know because either it was unintentional and they will benefit from your feedback in taking better care when shipping plants, possibly sending you a replacement; OR it was "intentional" in that they don't care and you will not want to do business with them again.

I did email the vendor the same day, and never received any response from them. I was pretty disappointed to say the least, they had a great selection and decent prices and I would have loved to be a regular customer for them, but that isn't going to happen now.

If on e-bay I would leave a Neg. feed back if you do not get a reply from them contact e-bay and pay pal if you used them if not e-bay keep after them ,there is no excuse for a vendor to send a beat up plant to a customer .
I guess I am not as nice as you are, not going to feather their nest and let them C--p in mine lolol with out a fight .. Gin

Well I sent another email to a different email account on their website and they did finally reply saying they were out of the office all week at a show and they were very nice about it. I did have problems contacting them before with the first email and should have known to use the 2nd one instead. They made everything right 8x over, I was really impressed with how courteous they were, and am very glad they made the situation right and will definitely buy from them again. Any supplier that is willing to go above and beyond to make every customer happy is worth their weight in gold!

I find most vendors are very nice and it's well worth a call.
