Hey Pheli, i hope you don't mind me reviving this thread and adding a photo of my ustii that just flowered. Here it is. I like this species as its quite hardy to.

I have never tried a Vanda, but this one is going to have to go on my wish list!

V. ustii is my favorite vanda species, but it is however not common to see it in my country.
My plant usually blooms in summer. It is now waking up and starts growing.
