Ted, from the base of the plant to the top, it's 10 inches tall. The roots, however, are close to a couple feet long. So even though I've got the plant growing in a clay pot instead of a basket, it still needs to be suspended to accommodate the inconveniently long root system.

It is a lot shorter than I would have guessed. Yes, vandaceous root systems do get quite long.

Thank you for the identification, Philippe. I purchased it a couple of years ago, but the vendor didn't state that it was any particular variety.

Yep...it's var. boxalii. My favorite form is var. remediosae, with its yellow-tinged flowers.
Either way, that's a nice vanda. You grow some awesome Vandaceous plants.

Thanks, Carl! I have a soft spot for a few of the species--even though, given my less-than-tropical conditions, they tend to be a pain in the posterior to keep happy. :-)
