Hi all,
Not certain of the species here. Its a real nice sequential bloomer, and tough as hell. Three small spikes survived 20-some days in a box across the ocean, through cold and dryness. I was impressed.
Basically, I'm just trying out my new $59 nikon... not that bad! I've always taken such awful pictures in the past, I'm trying to work on that. We'll see.

Oh, by the by, this is a tiny plant, maybe 5" leaf-span. Flowers are about 5mm.

Thanks folks, I've still got a long way to go compared to some photographers around here, but at least I'm moving forward!
This plant came from Thailand, through Orchidbasic.com, the proprietor or which previously sold on Ebay. This was in an order of 20 or so plants, and with shipping/cites/phytocert the average cost per plant was still below $10. Also, species which are hard (or impossible) to find stateside. I'll be doing that again, when spring comes. I just spent all available funds on an Amorphophallus titanum, and some konjac's. Kind-of an aside to the orchid hobby, but spot on for the plant biologist in me. I should have bloom photos in say, 6-10 years. Wish me luck!

Thanks for sharing info. Beautiful plant. It looks like it survived trip really well. I like pictures especially first one. I do believe it is not the camera that makes a good photographer but a good eye. It looks like you have it.
