I am in the UK and have acquired a Sarco Fitzhart (fitzgeraldii X hartmannii) and am totally confused by literature about minimum temperature. Looking at the parents some say cool (min 10c or even 8c), others intermediate min 13c. The only consistent factor is good air flow.
Anyone out there any ideas?

Yep, you can grow that down to 2C as long as it's protected from the frost. We grow them cold to warm here all year round. So cold in winter and warm in summer.

Simple as that......apply water according to need.

I have grown mine down to close to freezing, not that i have anymore but I have in the past. I grow my current Sarcs down to freezing but with protection from frost. I would recommend a minimum of 2C and if you can, keep it a bit higher than that.

That's great, many thanks Bolero.
It is good to have advice from someone in the land of the plant's origin.
I keep my Odonts at min 10c (but sometimes goes down to 8c if terrifically cold outside till the heater catches up) so I'll put mine in there and look for more Sarco's on the circuit. They do not seem to be too available over here.
