Vanda Keiki blooms first year
My friend gave me a keiki this past summer from her 20 year old Vanda that died. She said not to expect flowers for two to three years so what a great surprise to find not one but two spikes in early November. She has now bloomed and I am thrilled with the flowers. Just thought I'd share what she looks like. I have no name for her but that's not a problem for me. She is my first Vanda and I love her.

I have a Pac chong blue that blooms over and over. I would like to try some Vandastylis type hybyds.

vanda
It really doesn't ask for much, and it is in bloom most of the time, year round. I try to give it as much light as posible without burning it.
