Thanks to all for the kind words.

Breeindy - She's a keiki and the plant is small, and the leaves are not big/wide. I have attached a picture. She was also not well taken care of by the person who gave her to me so I think the leaves suffered. I'm trying to get her straightened out.

Default Floida sunshine

You have an advantage, with all of that Florida sunshine. We are in a rainforest area, with dull, rainy winters. But Pakchong blue blooms anyway.

I agree that Florida usually has ideal weather but we have had a few days in the 30's this winter and will again this coming Monday. I have babied this little Vanda and she returned the favor by blooming. Sounds like your Pakchong blue is also happy. Send some pictures when you get the chance.

Default Pakchong blue

I will post photo's, but I am cumputerly challanged. I'll have to get my husband's help. This one is from vanda Coerulea lines, and I was told that there is a little rychosylis in there, which helps it bloom often and it tolerates cooler temperatures because of the Coerulea

I look forward to your pictures Nancy.

breeindy, I looked up pictures of the sanderiana and there is a huge resemblance. I'm trying to see the stem on the flower but I'm not having much luck. Mine are not round and smooth, I have attached photos of mine. I love the look of it and they are long in front of the flowers. Is that also a characteristic of the sanderiana?

I agree that your Vanda is sanderiana, or even more likely, a hybrid with Sanderiane in it.
I really want a Vascostylis roll on red! They require a little less light and are fragrant.
