An ascoscenda is in the vanda family and is small, might give those a try!

Vanda species with small size plants include : bensonii, coerulescens, lilacina, liouvillei, parviflora, subconcolor (but not easy to get) and testacea.
All those plants are small Vandas.

Why not try Ascocentrums, they are really tiny and flower their heads off.

Amesiella
Ascocentrum
Ceratochilus
Ceratocentron (not the easiest to grow)
Gastrochilus
Sarcochilus

Philippe (aka rastafouni) mentioned some of the species Vandas.

I'd add Trudelia pumila (aka V. pumila) to that mix.
