What a amazing Ascocenda Ethan. May I ask if this is greenhouse grown or under lights , etc.? What ever your growth methods the results are impressive, especially in a northern climate like Ohio"s.

Thank you! Yes, it is greenhouse-grown so no artificial lighting at all. It's located on the south-end of the greenhouse so it gets indirect sunlight all day long. It's potted in a wood-slat basket (with no potting medium) that hangs from the ceiling. I spray the roots thoroughly once a day and give very diluted fertilizer about 3x per week. I've read you should water them more than once a day, but the humidity averages 60-70% this time of year, so for me it's enough. I think the high humidity in the greenhouse is what's given me the luck I've had here in Northern Ohio!

Thanks for your reply Ethan. I am going to change my routine a bit and fertilize more. I have been fertilizing just once a week. I have two evaporative portable coolers, One is fairly new and not doing its job, so I am going out now to see about fixing it. My humidity last couple weeks with heat going is averaging 50%. If I get this cooler working properly I should be able to get the humidity up to 60% in the greenhouse. Thanks Again! AL

I'm not familiar with evaporative coolers. I imagine in New Mexico you might have lower humidity than we have in Ohio. This time of year it's cool and humid for us. Although I've never been to New Mexico so I don't know! Just an FYI, when I fertilize I fertilize at about 1/2 - 1/4 strength and I use both Better Grow bloom-booster and Jackson's regular fertilizer. Not saying that it will work for you, just that it works for me! Hope this info helps - would love to hear updates on your successes!

Thanks Ethan for the additional information and yes this is a dry "high desert' climate at 5400 feet elevation. We get most of our rain from July through September and this is the one time of year humidity is not a problem. Now its dry and cool and coolers are on 24/7. I will definitely keep you posted. AL
