Very nice Vanda. You can tell there's a lot of sanderiana in its background just by looking at its colors and pattern.

Given all the reclassification that's gone on for teretes and for V. sanderiana, I guess this would be a Eunanthe or something of the sort (maybe even Vandeuanthe, if such a thing even exists).

What would the intergeneric name be for such hybrids, anyway?

I thought the same, it reminds me of my one and only Vanda which is 66% sanderiana by my calculation.

Didn't know sanderiana had been reclasified (and I've found confirmation here). As I said above my one and only Vanda is a complex hybrid which I've calculated to have sanderiana in so many places in it's parantage that it comes out as 66% that. Guess I may have to find out what mine is now classed as then

Wonderful flowers and good growing. For sure worth waiting !
Congrats.

The intergeneric name of hybrids made by Euanthe x Vanda is Vandanthe.
Papilionanthe x Vanda makes Papilionanda and Holcoglossum x Vanda makes Vandoglossum.
A bit complicated when thinking that all those plants were at a time classified as Vanda.... but they are official names for such hybrids even if they are almost never used and the plants are still sold under the name of Vanda.

Thanks for the names Philippe, so mine is proably a Vandanthe now... well that's if all the other parents are still Vanda anyway
