Tell me. Is the spotting on the leaves normal for Ascocentrum? I have one and it is doing this too.

Foliage of ascocentrum is often spotted (red dots); degree of spotting is influenced by cultural conditions - amount of light plant receives. See David L. Grove book - 'Vandas and Ascocendas and Their Combinations with Other Genera'. This is one book that every vanda-lover should read.

That's a beauty, Todd
Love the color!!!
A little less lighting should alleviate the spotting problem, Charles
Mine gets Catt lighting rather than Vanda lighting and there are no spots

I can't get over how perty it is. The spotting looks like it was supposed to be there. Adds character if you ask me.
