Default A Miniature Vanda and Pretty Too

This is Vanda Tessellata that I have had for a very long time. It grows on a one foot by two inch tree fern post. Don't have room for Vandas then try this little one. The leaf span is about nine inches and it is mildly fragrant.

Thank you for sharing your delightful little Vanda. Her blooms are beautiful. In the past I've seen photos of Tessellata blooms, but never realized they came from a smaller sized plant. This is good to know. What's her leaf type?

Thanks.

It is the common strapleaf. It looks much like an ascocentrum without the freckles.

My Tessellatas are about 3' tall not counting roots. The flowers are about 2" wide. The fragrance is superb. So...when you say miniature, what do you mean? To me a miniature would probably be a lot smaller than I described yes?

Looks great, but a photo of the whole plant would make sense. Do you grow it outdoors? I would like to see the roots and the plant size in relation to the blooms.
where did you get it?

A couple of pictures of the entire plant. The tree fern measures 9" in length and came from Tropical Plant Products in Orlando. It spends summer outside and winter in the greenhouse. Since I have had it for more than fifteen years, I have no idea how I acquired it because I have about five hundred plants.
