not sure if it's grown... to be honest I've not had chance to look today as I've only just got home (9:50pm here in the UK). Doubt it's grown much in 3 days though

I've brought it inside yesterday as it seems to be really cold at night at the momment.

Maybe it's where I live but vanda spikes grow at least a little in 3 days no?

Forgot to have a look again this morning. I often find if I compare a pic to the plant I can see growth even in a couple of days but often don't notice without comparing. I'll try looking again tonight.

Congratulations on the spike. I've always wanted to try a Vanda but like many northerners have that fear of "How do I keep it alive indoors over the winter?"

BTB, I like your new avatar. What variety?

Cheers.
Jim

Thanks Jim,

Mine did OK indoors at the end of last winter (which is when I bought it). Because it's potted it seems to work. You have to just dribble a little water in rather than soaking it. It dries a lot slower indoors so you have to be really careful watering.

My avatar at the momment is a Paph Maudiae. It's still in flower at the momment and I just love it
