I have an aeries falcata that seems to be doing well. I grow it in an open slat wooden basket. When I first transferred it from it's original pot I put a little spaghnum moss on the roots to help it along a bit. Now it grows with very little moss and nothing else. I water it daily and twice during very hot days that are particular dry. It has started growing a keiki so I took that as a good sign.

as you can see, its in tiny bits of bark and perlite. is that an ok mix? im guessing that it should dry out almost al the way, before watering again?

do they grow fans like neos? because if not, it has what looks like a basal keiki that you would see on a phal
