Thanks Steve for encouraging me to part with my well earned cash :lol: ! I may still have to wait though. The V Lady Gray is just part of an Image collection at the moment and the company contact you when they are in stock, when you tell them you want one.

Mind you was looking at David Stead Orchids and he has V. Summer Midnight and V. Siam Ink "Dark" both of the blue colouration.... (Rosie, you hath tempted me to look else where... Naughty! ;) )... As you can probably guess I'm quite happy with the blue colouration.

I was thinking it was of the coerulea lineage, and have been reading that most Hybrids produced in the UK are derived from two species V. coerulea and V. sanderiana. So I guess if I ever get to the stage where I'm willing to try a species Vanda it will most likely be one of those two. But have no fear I will buy from a reputable trader and do my research first.

With Vandas in the UK, it's seems unlikely that I would be able to get one below about £25 (Approx $37 US). Even the Noids are coming in at £30+ (Approx $45 US) at the non-specialist places.
