Rhynchorides Bangkok Sunset
Rhynchorides (Aerides x Rhynchostylis) Bangkok Sunset is very fragant. The parentage of Aerides houletiana is quite obvious.

It's beautiful. I love it. Does the additiion of Aerides houletiana make it more difficult to grow? I have never had any luck trying to grow them.

Marilyn, not sure what you mean by having Aer. houlletiana in it making it hard to grow. I don't have anything fancy in growing conditions and houlletiana grows very well for me. Maybe your positioning or watering of the plant needs adjusting.

Fantastic, Philippe! It definitely inherited the aerides lip, and from what I could see of the leaves, they too look more like Aer. houlletiana than whatever rhynchostylis was used. Is it a small-growing plant?

I was intrigued enough with name of this one that I had to see the coloration!
Beautiful!
It reminds me of my Aeridovana Somsri Sunlight (Aerides lawrenciae X Vanda Rasri Gold)
I looked up Bangkok Sunset (Rhynchorides Thai Noi (Rhyncholaelia coelestis X Aerides flabellata) X Aerides houlletiana.
So the parentage really isn't that similar, but I think you can tell by the photos that the flowers look like siblings
