Very nice. In due time, it should produce more flowers per foxtail.

I used to have one of these, but I ended up burning it. I'll probably get a replacement sometime. I love the tea-like fragrance.

Well done Roy ! The alba form is my favorite Rhyncho gigantea and the fragant... humm.
As wrote Carl, every year it will produce more and more flowers for sure.

I must add that this s the first Rhynchostylis I've ever flowered. I was told that the alba form was the easiest.
Well, its the slowest one of the 4 Rhy' I have but the first to flower. I have an all red one and 2 forms of the spotted type. The spotted ones are out growing the red and alba by miles.... go figure. Hopefully theses will flower come spring/summer.
They aren't growing in idea Rhy conditions but as long as they grow and flower is fine by me. The bigger the spike the better though.

My Rhyn. collection is very similar.... First year flowering and the flowers are absolutely nothing to write home about..... Second flowering is an improvement but third is a huge improvement.....Typically for the Rhyn varieties they are VERY slow growers and only flower once a year

Peter, I would have thought in your area they would grow very well. At least I'm not on my own, thanks.
