Great looking plant. How "cool" was your cool rest, and how long did it last? I got mine in bloom in February, it has no fragrance, is there any way to make that happen for the next blooming period?

There are actually quite a few similar looking species with similar looking flowers within the genus Schoenorchis.

note: Do not confuse or interchange the word "similar" for the word "same". The 2 words have slightly different concepts to each other.

What may be sold as Schoenorchis fragrans may actually be Schoenorchis seidenfadenii or perhaps Schoenorchis tixieri, quite possibly a couple other species that escape my mind at the moment.

The actual Schoenorchis fragrans may actually be much rarer in cultivation than it was once thought to be. That's probably what prompted prices of this particular species to skyrocket in the past few years, idk.

That may be it. Maybe I should get another one, just to make sure (a good excuse to get more orchids, really). Thanks for replying.

I give it "cattleya light" or about 12 inches from a T5 light fixture. The winter nights went down to 60F.
