Default My Noid Ascocenda is Multi-tasking

This is one of my favorite chids. First of all her blooms are the most amazing shade of red. Last year she had 4 bloom sessions, producing 2 spikes at a time. She also sports a keiki that spiked and bloomed during it's first year.

About 2 months ago the mature plant developed 2 new spikes. The first spike got broken (by forces unknown) leaving one tiny bud. Fearing for the safety of the remaining spike I decided to move the plant to the upper level of my shade house. The tiny bud eventually bloomed and so did the remaining spike. A few days later I noticed her keiki was in spike and then I spied the beginning growth of a new keiki Finally something else caught my eye as I was reviewing her photos...another spike growing just above the broken spike on the mother plant.
